Once you and the Supplier have come to terms and signed an agreement, the only thing left for you to do is to find Endorsers.
So, your next task is to find Web sites with traffic that has the customers that your product would appeal to.
Once again, you’d simply go back to Copernic and input “golf”, “golfing supplies” or whatever keywords or key phrases you think would be suitable.
After a few seconds, Copernic has run your search and is now displaying a list of possible Web sites.
After a few minutes of browsing these possible sites, you come up with let’s say Paul Wilson Golf at www.paulwilsongolf.com
After looking around this site, you discover that this site is run by Paul Wilson out of Ontario, Canada.

It also looks like he mainly sells his own golf books and golf videos.
Also, if you have Alexa running, you should notice this site is rated 571,749 in terms of traffic. No too bad, even though you’d prefer at least a traffic rating of 100,000 or below for an Endorsing site.
Also, notice the related links listed by Alexa:
[green_tick_2_list width=”100%”]
- Tutorgolf
- Model Golf
- PGA Golf Mater
- Putter Wizard
- Power Trigger
- Mind Your Golf
- Golf Positive
- Golfers Learning Center

These are additional potential Endorser sites you need to look at. So you would simply click on the links and check then out one-by-one.
As you do this, and by clicking the “Related” button, Alexa will keep updating the link information about the page that’s currently displayed in your browser.
Anyway, let’s continue.
Thinking to yourself “This Web site looks like a perfect match”, you simply collect the same info like you did before – when you were searching for a product – using the Web site and Network Solutions, and enter your info into a database or a simple spread sheet.
Now, you just repeat the above steps to find additional potential Endorser sites.
Then, you just start sending out e-mail to these potential Web sites with your business offer. Something like the following:
********************************************************
Subject: Paul, I just browsed your Web site
Dear Paul,
My name is (Your Name), and I’ve just browsed your Web site ww.PaulWilsonGolf.com and I wanted to make contact with you.
(Now here is where you could simply say something nice about this Web site or comment about why you think his site would lend itself to a perfect joint venture)
Because of what I found on your site, I want to share an idea with you that could become another stream of income for you and at the same time offer a great service to your customers.
I represent a golf product that is a perfect non-competitive match to your customers.
Also, because there is no time or monetary investment needed on your part, you could do quite well.
I would like to discuss this in greater detail with you.
Please contact me at your earliest convenience, as I am sure you are going to be as excited as I am once you hear what I have in mind.
You can reach me by e-mail at: YourName@YourE-mail.com or by phone at 425-555-6664.
If you happen to miss me, just leave a number where I can reach you and I’ll call you right back.
Kindly,
Your Name
P. S. As soon as I hear from you I will let you know all the details.

Again, like when you contacted the Supplier (www.StreamlineGolf.com), if you don’t get any response from your initial contact, (even after a follow up e-mail and your final e-mail) you might want to get a little more aggressive and fax a letter to the Web site contact.
The fax number is normally found on their Web site or if not, you’ll find it at Network Solutions.
Even if you don’t get a reply from your initial e-mail, simply contact them again with another e-mail or fax, changing the message slightly – starting out with something like:
*******************************************************
Subject: Paul, in case you didn’t get my message…
Dear Paul,
I tried to contact you a few days ago after I browsed your Web site www.PaulWilsonGolf.com
However, if for some reason you didn’t receive my message, here’s why I was trying to make contact with you.
(Now here is where you could simply say something nice about this Web site or comment about why you think his site would lend itself to a perfect joint venture)
I’m looking to do a joint venture with a company such as yours that has a strong bonded customer list.
I’m not talking about an affiliate program with banner ads that don’t work too well anymore or a measly 5 percent commission, but a “real” joint venture with a commission of 30 percent.
I represent a company called Streamline Golf. They manufacture custom-made golf clubs and golf club components.
(Now here’s where you would mention specific benefits, such as, why these golf clubs are superior to others, how far their driver will hit the ball, the satisfaction guarantee, etc.)
Please take a look at their Web site at: http://www.StreamlineGolf.com
It should explain a lot. Then contact me for any additional information or if you have other ideas you would like to explore.
If you think this product would be of interest to your customers, you would simply introduce it to them with an e-mail or a letter on your Web site.
We also have a tracking script in place that tracks sales both by cookie AND by IP address – making it virtually foolproof for you to lose any commissions. You are sure to get credit for any sales coming from our joint venture even if it happens a year from now.
The whole process is very simple. Just visit: http://www.StreamlineGolf.com/joint-venture to get your tracking link. Then simply use this tracking link in your e-mail message to your customers, or you could direct them to a “special” Web page on your site where you would display the link.
Commissions will be paid out weekly. You can also keep track of the sales progress and your part of the profits anytime – 24 hours a day simply by going to: http://www.StreamlineGolf.com/stats.htm
That’s it. Everything is pretty simple and straightforward.
You can reach me at 425-555-6664 or by e-mail at YourName@YourE-mail.com
Kindly,
Your Name
*******************************************************
Notice in the above e-mail message that we refer to and have links to the Supplier’s Web site as well as to the tracking script’s sign-up page and the stats page.
Remember that you are not contacting these potential Endorser Web sites trying to sell them anything, but you are…
Doing Them A Favor!
So when you get an answer back either by e-mail or by phone and the person wants to know what this is all about, you simply tell them what you have in mind.
When you get a reply by e-mail you can simply send them an e-mail right back with all the information and then follow up in a day or so with a phone call. Simply send an e-mail, something like the following:
*******************************************************
Subject: Paul, here’s the information you requested
Hi Paul,
Thank you for your interest.
I’m looking to do a joint venture with a company such as yours that has a strong bonded customer list.
Yadda, Yadda, Yadda…
***********************************************************
Simply repeat what was in the prior e-mail message.
There you have it. The process is pretty simple, and the rewards could be so sweet.
But please realize that not every Web site, whether a Supplier or Endorser, will be interested or accept your offer every time. Maybe they are interested in your proposal, but they want slight variations in the things you have suggested, so it’s important you try to do anything you can to satisfy all their concerns.
Also they might not be interested right now, but might be “ripe” for a joint venture deal in a few months. That’s another reason why you want to keep track of and follow up on these leads.
You aren’t going to get everyone to jump at it every time. But so what? The beauty is that everything is negotiable.
Sooner or later you’ll get your first joint venture under your belt. And believe me, after your first one, it’s so much easier to the your second one, and so on. It’ll simply gets easier and easier.
In the next section I’ll show you additional ways of finding excellent Web sites to do deals with.
Onward.
